Account & Data Deletion
1. Overview
This page describes how you can permanently delete your EKYGAI account and all associated personal data. EKYGAI is operated by EKYGAI LLP (Partnership No. OC460332), 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF, United Kingdom.
You may request account deletion at any time, free of charge, with no need to justify your decision.
2. Option A — Delete from the EKYGAI app (recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is from within the EKYGAI mobile app or website:
- •Open the EKYGAI app or sign in at ekygai.com
- •Go to Profile > Settings > Account
- •Tap or click "Delete my account"
- •Confirm your password to authorise the deletion
- •Read and accept the deletion notice
3. Option B — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app (lost device, forgotten password, etc.), you can request deletion by email at:
privacy@ekygai.com
Please include in your message:
- •The email address linked to your EKYGAI account
- •Your full name as registered on the account
- •A clear statement that you wish to permanently delete your account and associated data
We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
4. What is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:

| Bluetooth sensor data (heart rate from external sensors) | Permanently deleted |
| Coach-athlete links and governance history | Permanently deleted |
| EkyBot conversations (entire history) | Permanently deleted |
| Profile preferences and settings | Permanently deleted |
5. What is retained (legal obligations)
Some data must be retained for a limited period to comply with legal obligations:

6. Active subscription
If you have an active paid subscription:
- •Subscriptions purchased through Google Play Billing must be cancelled separately in your Google Play account (Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions). Account deletion alone does not cancel the Google billing.
- •Subscriptions purchased on the web (via Dodo Payments) are automatically cancelled when your account is deleted.
- •No refund is issued for the unused period of an active subscription, except where required by applicable law.
7. Account recovery
Account deletion is irreversible. Once processed, your account cannot be restored. If you wish to use EKYGAI again, you will need to create a new account from scratch — none of your previous training data or programmes will be available.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority — for example the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the French CNIL, or any competent EU/US authority.
